Is our immune system the cure for cancer?

Do you believe the human immune system can win the battle against cancer, without any assistance from modern medicine? Here’s an excerpt from my book, “The Healing Power of Cancer”.

One momentous day in May 2013 at Pete’s café, I had a fascinating discussion with Australian naturopath Marco Felicetti, culminating in him declaring, “The human body can cure itself of anything, Rob!”
“Really? Seriously, Marco? I find that hard to believe. What about something as drastic as cancer?”
“Absolutely, 100%, my friend. Your immune system is more powerful than you may believe. It can fight off any intruders in your body. But when your immune system is compromised, you become susceptible to illness. So, you need to build your immune system.”
“Yes, I know that, but do you think there’s a cure for cancer?”
“Rob, we’ve had a cure for every type of cancer since the day dot. It’s your immune system. Let that sink in.”
I let it sink in.
Marco directed me to the Cambridge University video mentioned at the beginning of this book, which shows a human T cell filmed with an electron microscope, killing a cancer cell. That had a profound influence on me. It was a game changer, a pivotal moment.

Like super-sleuth Sherlock Holmes, I had been looking for clues, trying to solve a mystery. I had been searching for an understanding of how to heal myself. I had spent months piecing together the evidence from Pete, Dr Chris, documentaries, books, Web research and kindred spirits.
Marco’s revelation was the missing piece I had been looking for.
The cure for cancer has been staring us in the face.
Why are we not taught this in school?
Many years later I contacted Marco to thank him for his wisdom and guidance. He was touched that I remembered him and revealed that the reason he had such confidence in the immune system was that he had cured himself of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, 12 years ago at 21 years old. He achieved this in less than two months, purely by eliminating sugar, dairy and gluten from his diet, and receiving homeopathic treatment.
When pathology tests showed that the cancer had completely disappeared, Marco’s doctor couldn’t understand why and said they must have misdiagnosed.
But Marco knew his immune system had cured him.
